Monsters University Commercial Updated With Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover At The End

Remember the Monsters University Takeover trailer? Well, Club Penguin updated the ending of the commercial! A few days ago a modified version of the commercial began airing on television and it shows a short 4 seconds teaser of the 2013 Star Wars Takeover at the end! It’s similar to the official Star Wars Takeover Announcement Video but instead only says “Coming July”. (You can skip to around the 27 second mark)

Club Penguin has released their new pin! As a result the Neon Flamingo Pin is no longer at the Coffee Shop. Instead, the new pin, the One Eyed Puffle Pin, can be found at the Iceberg. This is Club Penguin’s thirteenth pin of 2013.

Club Penguin Rainbow Puffle Commercial On Disney Channel

A quick 10 second segment featuring the Rainbow Puffle appears sometimes while watching Disney Channel! You might have seen this as it first appeared a month and a half ago! It’s a transition to more or less say “you’re watching Disney Channel” right before a show starts. Check it out if you haven't.

Club Penguin Partners With GeoPal

KidsWire released an article talking about Club Penguin's new partnership with GeoPalz recently. Check it out.

GeoPalz, an interactive gaming and rewards platform for kids and families, has partnered with Disney’s Club Penguin to develop of a wearable Club Penguin iBitz activity tracker.  

Using the Club Penguin-branded iBitz pedometer, Club Penguin players will be able to convert their athletic activity into virtual coins and exclusive content within the Club Penguin world. The Club Penguin iBitz activity tracker will be available for purchase in fall 2013.  

“By connecting the GeoPalz Eco-System of activity driven games, rewards and prizes with one of the largest communities for kids, we hope to encourage millions more families to be active,” said Rich Schmelzer, CEO of GeoPalz. “It has been inspiring to work with Nike and Disney the past few months to bring together fitness activities that kids will love.” 

Vice President and General Manager of Disney Interactive Worlds, Chris Heatherly, added, “By rewarding kids for being active in the real world, we are encouraging a healthy balance between screen time and active time. My favorite summer activity has to be surfing with my family, why you ask? Surfing brings my family together so we can have laughs and fun instead of fighting for the front seat in the car LOL!! Club Penguin Membership Page Updated With A New Look!

While some of you have already got the update a long time ago, I only got this update recently. I'm wondering if there's still players out there who haven't view this, have you? Never mind, I'm just gonna do this post!

Anyways, over the past few years Club Penguin has redone this page several different times. I like the new look as it is very simple, flashy and informative. At the top of the membership page you’ll see the different options. There’s 1 month, 6, month and 12 month variations as usual. Different benefits are listed below them as shown:

Scroll down and you'll see many different boxes like “unlimited possibilities” and “new experiences weekly” etc. Click on any of them and it will give more information about the extra items you can access with that.

Below the membership benefits section, is the it lists what’s going on this month. There’s the new furniture on June 13th, the Monsters University Takeover Party on June 27th and the Star Wars Takeover on July 25th.

Below the upcoming events for members it’ll list gift certificates. If you already have a gift certificate code and want to activate it, click “activate now”. Below that is membership cards. There’s two options: “Where to Buy”, which of course tells you where you can buy membership cards; And “Activate Now”, which activates your membership card.

Finally, it lists other ways you can pay for a Club Penguin Membership and also gives you the link to go to Parent Tools.

When you purchase a membership online through Club Penguin you can enter your existing penguin’s login or create a new penguin.

Just choose your payment method and you’re good to go! There are the three usual methods, which are – credit card, PayPal and Western Union QuickPay.

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover

Few weeks ago, Spike Hike teased us on new parties coming this Summer 2013. With many evidence pointing this, it's OFFICIAL! Club Penguin is having a Star Wars party this July!

Six months ago, Herbert (Club Penguin) made a website relating to Operation: Blackout. The URL is http://clubherbert.com/. It hasn't been updated since the EPF foiled his plans but, today, Club Penguin updated this page with a starry night sky.

Interesting. The starry night sky requires a paid membership... Also, Perapin found some more information relating ti this Star Wars Takeover. He found out that the starry adventure begins July 25 to August 13! Club Penguin seems to be holding parties late in the month lately... Check out this picture Perapin found,

For more evidence, Gpumpkin sent an email asking Club Penguin if the Star Wars Takeover is happening and guess what's the reply:

Puffle Dig Brings New Stamps!

Polo Field teased us with a video of Puffle Digging yesterday and it was launched today!

Take your puffle for a walk around the island. It's not instantaneous or anything but as you go around the island your puffle will find treasure.

When your puffle finds treasure, you’ll hear some sound effects, see your puffle dig a hole, and out comes the coins!

The top right corner will show you how many coins you’ve received.

The Puffle Handbook has also been updated. A page for Puffle Digging has been added.

Five stamps have also been released for it.

1. Puffle Dig – Walk a puffle and find treasure
2. First Dig – See another player’s puffle find their first treasure
3. Every Color – Dig up treasure with 11 different color puffles
4. Dig All Day – Find puffle treasure 5 times a day
5. Big Dig – Find over 50 coins in a Puffle dig

Everyday Phoning Facility Construction Continues

Constructions on Club Penguin’s Everyday Phoning Facility is making some more progress!

You can see that the outside of the EPF has been given a much nicer look! The two phones at the side of it suits the name 'Everyday Phoning Facility'. How do you like the new exterior look of the building?

There are still some work to be done inside the Everyday Phoning Facility.

Loustik005 joined the team Roar Omega Roar, along with Ninja! In the sneak peek he shown us, you can see him wearing Team ROR's hoodie in the Coffee Shop. The size of the name is back to normal too.

Club Penguin Launches New Official Facebook Page

It's the day, the day Club Penguin launched their newest and official Facebook page. They've only had a page for Club Penguin Parents previously, but this one is aimed at all audiences. You can check their page at Facebook.com/ClubPenguin. Scroll down the page and you’ll see pictures from the past as they took advantage of the timeline feature giving notable highlights of how the game to be.

Madness will be on Club Penguin if they really were three Herberts. The 3rd Herbert is silly, LOL! But that'll be fun for the EPF! :p

ROR Will Be Victorious...

Ninja has posted a sneak peek of the Team ROR lounge. The picture shows a penguin, which is definitely Ninja himself, wearing Team ROR's hoodie. Unlike sneak peeks shown by other moderators, Ninja's name seems to be back to normal.

Scare Games Sneaking Up Fast

Polo Field has posted some sort of a follow up post of the article 'Scare Games Update' of the Club Penguin Times.

To earn scare points, you'll play a sneaky scaring mini game. And you'll want to use your loudest, scariest scare! Just be careful not to get scared in the process. 

There will be items for everyone. And members will get to use their scare points to purchase even more monster wear!  

As rival teams scare each other for the win, new costumes will be unlocked!

Polo Field has posted a new Reviewed by You on the Club Penguin blog! Last week, we were asked by the Team ' how many stamps have you earned so far and which was the hardest one to get?' and Pantherxx12 answered:

STAMPS ARE AWESOME!! Since they arrived in July 2010, I have earned 191! I met every mascot, and I got most of the game stamps. I of course am still working to earn more and more stamps, which makes it so awesome!!! :) So far, the hardest stamp I have earned was to throw a party with 30 penguins in my igloo. It took a lot of advertising, and even some bribing. LOL! It was so hard to get that stamp that it took me about 2 hours to get it done! But the fun party made it worth it!! Nachos anyone?

Some countries are getting closer to summer., so the Team wanted to know 'What is your favorite summer activity and why?'
