Club Penguin Blog: SoundStudio Party 2015 – Don’t Miss This!

Polo Field has made a new post on Club Penguin’s blog. He asked several people around the studio what they wanted to do at the SoundStudio Party, and compiled a list with the responses he got. Here’s the list of things you shouldn’t miss before the SoundStudio Party ends March 4th.
Do you ever go to an event with a list in your head of things you FOR SURE want to do before you leave? ...I've got them all here in this handy dandy list:
Club Penguin Blog: SoundStudio Party 2015 – Don’t Miss This!
  1. Play a song at each stage of Snowball Records (don’t forget your reward!!)
  2. Like as many concert and awards show iggys as you can!
  3. Listen to remixed songs in the Dance Club
  4. Nominate a friend for an award at the Awards Ceremony
  5. Throw down in the limo’s dance pool
  6. Make some noises and start a jackhammer flash mob in the Snow Forts
  7. Take your puffles in to the Coffee Shop (because that’s what the celebrities do right?)
  8. Wear your most outrageous outfit and summon your entourage to make a splash on the red carpet
  9. Check out the SoundStudio app on your mobile device (I would…but it’s not out yet….)
  10. Host a VIP party backstage!

Penguin of the Week: Ichanchibi

Daffodaily5 has posted this week's Penguin of the Week on the Club Penguin Blog. The featured penguin is Ichanchibi. Here’s why he was chosen:

Club Penguin SoundStudio Party 2015

Club Penguin's second party of 2015, the SoundStudio Party, is now here! Will it be a better party than the Music Jam 2014?

Party Features

When you first log in Cadence will talk to you.

The SoundStudio Party has hit the island! This is your shot at STARDOM! Just head to Snowball Records in the Snow Forts and you can record a song!
After playing all four songs, members can try out for the talent show. They’ll perform for me and special guest judges to prove they’re music masters!
The main event is located at the Snow Forts. From here you can play for Cadence and “record” music at Snowball Records.

When you play for Cadence or “record” music at Snowball Records, there are four different genres to choose from. They are dance, pop, dubstep, and rock.

Each set has its own look. You need to click the shape on the instrument according to the sequence that is shown on the board. Here’s the dance set while playing for Cadence:

The pop set:

The dubstep set:

The rock set:

The sets at Snowball Records have different designs for all the genres. Here’s the dance set:

The pop set:

The dubstep set:

The rock set:

It is also worth-mentioning that the limo from the 2013 Hollywood Party has returned.

There is also an award show at the Stage, too, similar to the 2013 Hollywood Party.

Items

Finishing different sets at the Snowball Records offers you different items. For the dance set you can collect the Glow Bracelets, while members can also collect Dance Crew Outfit.

For the pop set, you can collect the Rhinestone Sunglasses while members can also collect the Pop Star Hoodie.

For the dubstep set, you can collect the Rocker-chic while members can also collect the Dubstep DJ Outfit.

For the rock step, you can collect the Punkhawk while members can also collect the Six-String Axe.

Miscellaneous

The map has also been updated for the party.

There is also the usual party-exclusive emotes.

Afterthought/Verdict

Overall, I rate this party a 6.5 out of 10. I liked how we can collect items right after we complete the sets, instead of having to come back each day. Unfortunately the decorations are only clustered within the Town, Snow Forts, and Plaza. All in all, it's definitely a better party than the Music Jam 2014.

Club Penguin DJ K-Dance Pin – February 19th, 2015

Every two weeks Club Penguin hides a pin somewhere on the island, and today a new pin is hidden! The previous pin, the DJ Headphones Pin, is no longer at the Dance Club. Instead, the new pin, the DJ K-Dance Pin, can be found at the Beach. This is Club Penguin’s fourth pin of 2015.

Isn't it big? Check out this image edit that fellow Club Penguin Blogger Trainman1405 made of a smaller pin. Do you prefer smaller pins, or larger pins?

Herbert’s website ClubHerbert.com has been updated once again. Herbert last made an appearance in Club Penguin’s We Wish You a Merry Walrus television holiday special. Towards the end, he was given noise cancelling Headphones as a present from Merry Walrus.
