Club Penguin’s annual Halloween Party has been released! This is their ninth Halloween Party. Some new additions to the party made it more spook-tacular.
When you first log in Rookie will appear.
Happy Halloween! The island is filled with candy, like bursting.
I ordered waaaaay too much! Trick-or-treat on the island or in igloos to get as much as you can.
Oh, and some candies are cursed…
...But I don’t think anything bad can happen from a curse, right?
Okay...
To trick or treat, simply click on it or go up to one of the giant pumpkin candy areas. If you place this item in your igloo, penguins can trick or treat there too, which you could also get some more igloo likes!
Simply click three of the candies, it does not matter which.
It’ll then tell you how many you’ve earned. For the first time, items from this party are bought with candies, instead of coins.
For a minute or two after taking candy from a pumpkin you cannot get any more from that particular one.
If you get a special transformation candy, you'll receive an extra message in the bottom.
Rookie will notify you about the 'bonus' candy you found too!
Yikes! A Fang Fudgie!
Those will turn you into a vampire if you eat them! That's way too scary. I'll drop this in your candy bag so nothing spooky happens.
As for trick-or-treating in igloos, members can be listed on the Trick-or-Treat Igloos list by placing the special jack-o’-lantern from the Furniture Catalog in their igloo.
Once done, you’ll get prompted to have your igloo open to everyone if it isn’t already.
You’ll then see yourself, and others, on the list. You can access this list from the Stadium or the map.
There are multiple variations of each candy. Collect all three Full-Moon Fireballs, all three Fang Fudgies, and all three Zombie Zingers (you get them all at random) for a prize.
This funny little item is the prize!

Instead of coins, candies are used to buy items. About 2/3 of this catalog are new items and 1/3 are old items.
Miscellaneous Things
There are not three, but six special party emotes!
There are many decorated rooms but there are quite a few that have amazing designs, such as the Cove.
