Today on the Club Penguin Blog Polo Field made a post officially announcing the launch of their Android app. While not at November as stated by
Disney's Russian website, instead, the app will be released next month. It will be available as a free download on Google Play. Here's what Polo wrote:
Shoutout to all you CP players with Android™ devices for all your patience and feedback. You asked, and we listened! The Club Penguin app will be available on the Google Play™ store this December 2014!

Here's the plan. We're starting with the main Club Penguin app on Android first. The app will have ALL of these amazing CP mini-games included:
* Sushi Drop
* Ice Fishing
* Bean Counters
* Smoothie Smash
* Pufflescape
* Puffle Rescue
* Jetpack Boost
* Pizzatron 3000
* Puffle Roundup
Of course, you'll also be able to change your penguin's outfit, decorate your igloo, and chat with friends around the world. This is a HUGE app, and we're so excited to share it with you!
Once this main Club Penguin app is out, we plan to bring as much of the Club Penguin experience to Android as possible. We'll be working on other CP apps for Android in 2015. :)

As mentioned, the app will be similar to the iOS version. After the release of the app, the team will start work on bringing other apps to Android, such as Sled Racer and Puffle Wild. Anyway, great job Club Penguin!
