For those of you unfamiliar with Mech Mice
and what it is, two of the Club Penguin founders, Rsnail and Screenhog,
left Club Penguin in or around October 2010. Their goal overtime, was to create an online mutliplayer tactical war
strategy game, with the help of others of course. Even before making Club Penguin, Rsnail had wanted to
create a war game, called SnowBlasters, but decided to put a hold on that. SnowBlasters was supposed to be a snowball fighting like game, such as multiplayer capability with upgradeable
snow launching weapons, but it had a twist. According to Rsnail, Club Penguin and Mech Mice were both inspired by SnowBlasters, not Mech Mice being inspired by Club Penguin. Once leaving Club
Penguin and wanting to do something new, he felt it was the
perfect time. Since then, he and other employees from the Rocketsnail/Hyper
Hippo Games Team have been hard at work developing the game. Former
Club Penguin employees, such as Businesmoose, have hopped on board too, which he calls it 'Moose Land'! Here is a video about Mech Mice. Watch the whole video, there's an 'unexpected' moment in it.
Heads up Penguins and Mice, Mech Mice Beta Test starts tomorrow!
