Club Penguin Announces Two Parties For May: The Fair and Rainbow Puffle Party

The Club Penguin Team has announced that there will be not one, but two parties for May next month! One of them, the Fair, will be accessible on the computer while the other, the Rainbow Puffle Party, is only available on mobile.

Here is Megg’s announcement post along with some teasers on the blog. From the picture of the Fair you can see that the Meteor Bounce game from the Marvel Superhero Takeover 2013 will return and also a new "Medieval Castle" themed area.

This month we're trying something NEW.

We're going to have two different parties — one on desktop, and one on the Club Penguin app! The team really wants to give everyone the BEST experience possible on each version of Club Penguin. And in the past, some of our desktop parties have been difficult to replicate on the app and still be fun for everyone. So...

On the app—when you log on May 21 to June 3 there will be a celebration for rainbow puffles!

On the computer—when you log on May 21 to June 3, you'll experience all the wonders of the Fair and Amazement Park.

Club Penguin Frozen Fever Party April 2015

Club Penguin’s fourth party of 2015, the Frozen Fever Party, is now here! This is their second Frozen related party after the first Frozen Party in August 2014.


Party Features

When you first login you’ll be greeted by Anna, along with Olaf and Elsa.

It’s so nice to meet you all! Elsa has brought magic snowflakes to help you cool off!

Remember, the heart is the only way to melt magic ice. Try emoting one if you want to that a room.

When you click the snowflake icon you can find items that you can collect after finding snowflakes which are hidden around the island. There are three snowflakes hidden in each room, as well as one item for everyone and one item for members. Also, as a gift from Elsa, everyone can collect the Spring Palace Igloo for free!


Here are some of the snowflakes. They are smaller then they are during the previous Frozen Party in August 2014. Try looking for them yourselves!

  
As you collect more snowflakes, the progress bar rises which unlocks transformations, the Olaf Puffle and others!


The party has the same room designs, except the Dock. Here you can find different pins scattered around the room.


Go through the doors to the special party room and you can find more pins, bringing the total number of pins to 10.

Members can freeze all the party rooms by throwing special snowballs at sparkling areas. Everyone else can unfreeze the rooms by using the Heart emote.


Elsa’s Ice Palace will be opening next Thursday.

As mentioned above, you can unlock items by collecting snowflakes. Everyone can also collect the Spring Palace Igloo, which looks like this:

Afterthought/Verdict

Overall, I rate this party a 6.5 out of 10. I think the party wasn’t that bad, at least the snowflakes were slightly smaller. And I liked how the pins stay as objects after collecting them. The returning rooms are also worth-mentioning.

Club Penguin has uploaded a sneak peek trailer video of their upcoming Frozen Fever Party April 2015 to their YouTube channel.



The party will last one month long on mobile and two weeks long on the computer.

Polo Field Leaves Club Penguin

Polo Field, Club Penguin’s community, social media manager, has left Club Penguin, which means he no longer is an employee of the team. It is unknown if Polo Field was laid off in the recent event of the closing of the entire Brighton office in the UK, or if he left on his own terms. Polo Field began his career back in November 2006, and was involved with the community when joining the Miniclip Club Penguin Forums (MCCP). He was then officially involved with blogging since 2012.

Club Penguin Sensei Meetup Times Haiku Day April 2015

April 17th is Haiku Day. Therefore, Sensei is waddling around the island for the next few days! If you meet him you can add him as your friend and receive his background. You can meet him by attending any of the meetup times listed below.

Club Penguin Frozen Fever Party Login Screen and Homepage Slide

Club Penguin has released a new login screen and homepage slide advertising their upcoming April Frozen Party. It says “Disney Frozen Fever Party Coming April 23″ and also mentions that the party will be available on iOS and Android.


The Frozen Fever Party begins next week, lasting until May 6th on the computer, and May 20th for mobile.

Club Penguin Dock Underground Cave Maze Walkthrough

Club Penguin has released their Underground Cave Maze, which is located at the Dock. At the Town, Snow Forts and Plaza you will see signs guiding you the the maze.


Pick up a hard hat at the Dock before you begin your underground maze.


When you enter you start here. You can check out the map at the right.


In one of the maze rooms you will see a crumbling wall. If you wear a hard hat and dance, you will reveal the steps to a secret room. Apparently whatever hard hat works, but only the Orange Hard Hat worked for me.


The secret room has a giant dance floor and plays Herbert Style.


In one of another maze rooms there are cave paintings of UFOs on the wall.


Here is the finishing line. Confetti will be fired when you enter.


This is the final room. Herbert's drilling machine has been made into a coffee serving place. You can pick up your Pickaxe reward here.


After finishing the puzzle you will earned the Pathfinder stamp. Hooray!


Here is the walkthrough for the Cave Maze. The area in blue square is the entrance to the secret room.


Amazing maze, Club Penguin! I actually thought for awhile to get to the end of the maze.

Club Penguin Footprint Pin – April 16th, 2015

Every two weeks Club Penguin hides a pin somewhere on the island, and today a new pin is hidden! The previous pin, the Fishing Rod Pin, is no longer at the Hidden Lake. Instead, the new pin, the Footprint Pin, can be found at the Beacon. This is Club Penguin’s ninth pin of 2015.


Club Penguin has made the new pin notably smaller than the previous ones, Yay!

Random EPF Message From Rookie Dated January 10th

Recently a new EPF message was sent by Rookie to all spy phones. The message, dated January 10th, has since been deleted. Between November 14, 2014 and March 5, 2015, there were no EPF messages. The Sasquatch was not even around at January. Here is the message:

Heya! As communications lead, I wanna communicate that the sasquatch is super nice. He gave me a fish!

Therefore, this is probably an unreleased EPF message, or a message that was supposed to be dated April 10th.

The Club Penguin Times To Be On The Club Penguin Blog

The Club Penguin Team is trying out an experiment on the blog. They will be posting some of the articles found in the latest issue of the Club Penguin Times on the Club Penguin Blog. Here’s Polo Field’s announcement post:

Club Penguin Upcoming Unreleased Sunflower and Dino Foot Pins Sneak Peek

Club Penguin has added another two new unreleased items to their files. They are the Sunflower and the Dino Foot Pins. It is unknown when these pins will be released.

Club Penguin Dock Underground Cave Maze Sneak Peek

Club Penguin will be having an underground cave maze soon. This was confirmed through files released by the team, which too contain sneak peeks of the maze.




There are also sneak peeks of the maze rooms. Fellow blogger Trainmn1405 has compiled them all into a single image to view the whole map. All credits go to him.


When you arrive at the end of the maze you can collect a pick-axe as a prize. There will also be a secret dance room, which Trainman1405 speculated will be "accessed through a hole in the wall, at the top left of the image at the hint of green where the wall is crumbling".

Earlier a message from Jet Pack Guy was also mistakenly released to all EPF agents through the Spy Phone. This left many penguins at the Dock confused.

Club Penguin Upcoming Unreleased Golden Goggles Item Sneak Peek

Club Penguin now has had a new upcoming unreleased item added to their files. The item is the Golden Goggles. It should be related to Sled Racer. It is unknown when this item will be released, nor if it is for nonmembers.

I'd like to congratulate all the players who've beat my high score -- you've earned my legendary respect.

And for those of you that are looking for some extra wisdom to help up your Sled Racer game, I've decided to do you a solid. Here are some of my personal tricks to becoming a high score hero:

* When using the jetpack, don't jet right down the middle of the track. Instead, stay along the sides of the hill -- you'll be less likely to run into obstacles when you land.

* Stick to the edges around the flufflies and you're usually safe from harm. This technique can also be used to get around the anvils that drop up and down at the end of the tunnels.

* The best combo of power-ups I've found is: Invincible, revive and the toot-blaster.

Shoutout to my fellow sled heads, feel free to add to this list in the comments below.
